  Building Information Services

Electronic Document Management (Onbase)
This service provides an Enterprise Electronic Document Management System (Onbase) that allows school districts to easily capture, index, store, search and retrieve records in a standard format via a single centralized server. Schools have the option to scan paper documents, or have the Center either come to the school to scan, or arrange for delivery of the documents to the Center for scanning.

Importing of electronic documents from other systems is also available. This system reduces physical storage needs, enables documents to be stored electronically and securely, with fast retrieval of information thus reducing the time and cost associated with it. Documents can be scanned with any TWAIN, ISIS or Kofax compliant scanner.

All three options provide investigation and procurement assistance of the hardware and software from one of our regional standards (Vendor) chosen by a selection committee of school district representatives. Districts can enjoy the benefits of this service whether they choose to purchase a camera and card printer for district use, purchase a camera and print ID Badges to a centralized card printer at the RIC or have one of our service team members capture images and print ID Badges for them. The service also includes system installation and initial training regardless of the option you choose.
