Level 0 application will not be available after 4 PM Friday.
Cognos8 reports that run against the Level 1 database will not function.
No affect on SED Reports through Cognos8 or nySTART reports.

8/11/10 > NYS Attorney General Files Action Against LCD Manufacturers
The NYS Attorney General has filed action against manufacturers of LCD displays for alleged price fixing. The Regional Information Center has purchased this type of equipment on behalf of many districts in the region. We have requested to have records frozen per the attached hold notice. We will update you as we receive addtional information.

8/10/10 > RAC MEETING Schedule for 2010-2011
Below is a schedule of the 2010-2011 RAC meetings. In an effort to accommodate some member’s schedules we are alternating a couple of Tuesday meetings this year. Please note that the first meeting will be held at BT-BOCES, in the ISC building Conference room A. The remaining meetings will be held at the Wellness Conference room at Oneonta FoxCare Center. Enjoy the remainder of your summer and see you in October.

8/04/10 > PowerSchool support attends PowerSchool University 2010

We have attended PSU 2010 and have posted materials for you to review. Many great documents and report templates. Feel free to download any of the materials. We will be adding some new sessions to our Fall Training Calendar as a result of our conference attendance. You will need to login with the username and password that was previously sent out. 8/02/10 > Generator Installation Underway
The SCRIC datacenter will soon have a back-up generator. The generator will provide power to the equipment and air-conditioning needed to keep applications and network systems running in the event of a power outage. The generator will be fueled by natural gas. Installation is expected to be finished by the end of August. We are not expecting to have any down-time associated with the installation. We will provide updates as new information is available.
6/04/10 > Intel Litigation Update
The NYS Attorney General has issued an update regarding the Intel litigation. Broome-Tioga BOCES has determined that the best course of action is to be represented in this litigation by the Attorney General. Broome-Tioga BOCES has frozen all available records pertaining to this matter including purchases made on behalf of school districts. The notice from the Attorney General is attached below. 5/18/10 > Application Testing for Windows 7
RIC staff are in the process of testing Windows 7 with applications such as PowerSchool, eSchoolplus, MUNIS, Finance Manager, ClearTrack, WinCap, Message Display, Electronic Document Management, etc. Below is an attachment containing the status of the Application testing.
